Activision reveals how powerful a PC needs to be to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta

Activision has revealed the system requirements for the Modern Warfare 2 beta PC version . You will need at least a Ryzen 5 1600X, GTX 960 and 8GB of RAM to run the game.

 


Minimum:

OS: Windows 10 (64-bit);
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-3570;
RAM: 8 GB;
Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960;
Free space: 25 GB.
Recommended:

 


OS: Windows 10 (64-bit);
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or Intel Core i7 4770K;
RAM: 16 GB;
Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 580 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060;
Free space: 25 GB.
Closed beta testing (only for those who pre-ordered the game) will take place from 22 to 23 September. The open beta starts on September 24th and will run until September 26th.

The release will take place on October 28 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
